About & Capabilities
A specialized laboratory for solar-industry electronics
We test photovoltaic PCBA and power optimizer circuit boards, nothing else. That focus defines our equipment, our methods and the depth of our engineering judgment.
Who we are
An independent development and testing partner serving the electronics and solar industry across Europe. We do not manufacture or distribute the hardware we evaluate and hold no commercial interest in it, which keeps our results objective.
Our engineers come from power electronics development and QA. Findings are delivered in a form your R&D team can act on directly: measured data, identified mechanisms, concrete recommendations.
How we work
- Defined scope first: every project starts with a written test plan: objective, method, sample handling, acceptance criteria.
- Calibrated instrumentation: all measurement equipment is maintained under a documented calibration schedule with traceable references.
- Reproducibility: test conditions and setups are documented so results can be independently reproduced.
- Data integrity: raw measurement data is archived and available to the client on request.
- Confidentiality: NDAs as standard; samples, design files and results are handled under controlled access.
Laboratory Equipment
Test infrastructure for PV power electronics
Our laboratory is equipped for electrical characterization, environmental stress testing and failure analysis of PCBA in the power range typical for module-level power electronics.
- PV array simulationProgrammable PV simulators for I–V curve and irradiance-profile emulation
- Environmental testingClimate chambers for temperature and humidity cycling
- Electrical characterizationPower analyzers, oscilloscopes and electronic loads for efficiency and switching measurements
- Thermal analysisInfrared thermography for hotspot detection and thermal verification
- Failure analysisMicroscopy and in-circuit measurement for root-cause investigation
- Long-duration testingEndurance benches for load cycling and continuous operation
- Portable equipmentCalibrated mobile instrumentation for on-site measurements
Experience
We concentrate on module-level power electronics: optimizers, rapid-shutdown devices and the PCBA inside them, from prototype qualification to failure analysis of field returns.
Quality standards
Test procedures are aligned with the relevant IEC methods, including IEC 62109 and environmental testing practice derived from IEC 61215 / IEC 62093, applied at PCBA and device level.
